N.E.mation! was Animagine’s flagship project for 14 years. During this time, we worked with students and the MINDEF client to produce 10 broadcast-quality animated shorts every year. The story-crafting and selection process unfolded over an intense 6 days, and is an intense exercise in micro-storytelling. The production phase took another 3 months from pre-production to post. Keeping the entire process balanced and open-ended as a competition for secondary school students was the additional layer of complexity that our team was highly-adept at managing.
